I was away last week and missed the launch of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 and this week it’s Christmas so I’m not doing much today or tomorrow, but I’ll be back later this week with some posts.
In the mean time I hope all of you in the Dynamics GP community have a very Merry Christmas.
You’ll have noticed a delay since my last post early last week. This is due to an unexpected hospitalisation resulting in emergency surgery from which I am now recovering.
While recovering I will be off work and not have access to my usual materials. I am viewing this as a good thing as it will allow me to focus on gettin better.
Hopefully, this will be a quick process and I will be back fit and healthy soon.
Well, this coming week I am off on a holiday to Scotland to take in some of the historic sites and other attractions.
There are a few blog posts scheduled to go up over the coming days (only one of them is GP 2013 related) but there won’t be much interaction with where I have an active hand as I intend to relax as much as possible.
I’ve just added a mobile theme to the site which will display the first time you visit the site on a smart phone; if you want the normal desktop theme then you can scroll right down to the bottom of the page and disable it.
If you notice any problems with the theme let me know and I’ll see about fixing it (I won’t see the problem myself as I don’t have a smart phone so if you see an issue please let me know).
I’m not sure if anyone cares, or even if anyone uses Google+, but azurecurve posts are now available on Google+ as they are on Twitter or Facebook.
My Google+ should be publicly available, but let me know of any problems. I’m sorting out an update of the theme at the moment at which time a Google+ button will be available.
Just a quick update to apologise for the lack of updates.
I’m currently stressing out about a house purchase I’m trying to get through as soon as possible (with concerns I may actually lose the house if it doesn’t exchange soon). For the regular readers out there (I assume there are some) I moved back to the NE in September last year to start a new job as consultant with Perfect Image, specialising in Microsoft Dynamics GP and sidelining in Dynamics CRM, and this is the final step for me to complete the move.
Once the purchase completes and I can stop stressing I’ll get back to posting; I have a backlog of posts not just related to the recently started series of posts on PSTL but also other areas of the system and related products.
Of course, once it does complete I’ll be project managing a renovation which will probably also cause me to stress out but I doubt as much as the purchase is (Bloody Hell I hope not anyway).
Hopefully back soon with some useful posts.
It’s just come to my attention that neither azurecurve nor the other sites I run have not been sending emails since early February.
I’ve reported this to my hosting provider and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Well, after approximately thirty six hours of downtime azurecurve is back up and running. Speed currently seems to be up and down but I’m hoping this is just index rebuilds or similar slowing things down.

Apologies for the lack of updates recently, but I’ve been out of the office over the last couple of weeks for my birthday (I never work it), on client site and then back down to Cheshire for a week to pack the contents of the house I am selling as part of moving to the NE for work.
I’m now back and over this week will post a few SQL scripts I’ve written over the last year or so which you may find useful.
