As well as creating a Word template from the Word Templates page, you can also start from a master page (or related list page); starting this way will add the master record type as the source.
To create a Word template in this way, open the master record page and click Actions » Apply Word template:
On the Apply Word Template page, click the New Template button:
This will open the Create a Word Template page we covered in the previous article in this series, allowing you to configure the tables and create the Word template.
