This post is part of the Hands On with Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2019 Release New Features – System Enhancements series where I am going hands on with the system enhancements of the new version of Microsoft Dynamics GP; it is part of the larger Hands On with Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2019 Release New Features series.
It strikes me as being a little odd to include compatibility in as a new feature, but that’s what Microsoft have done. The October 2019 Release of Microsoft Dynamics GP is compatible with SQL Server 2019, Windows Server 2019 and Office 2019.
This brings Dynamics GP up-to-date with the latest versions of the systems with which it works. There is no mention of version compatibility being removed for older versions, so this means the envelope of supported versions has increased.
