MDGP 2013 Feature of the Day: Inactive Items

Microsoft have started the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Feature of the Day series on the Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP Blog.

The eight feature they’ve announced is Inactive Items.

This feature allows all inventory items types to be flagged as inactive in Item Maintenance (Cards » Inventory » Item) which stops the purchase, processing and sale of the item. Previously only Sales Inventory items could be set as Discontinued but this new option applies to all inventory item types;
